Fasting sugar only 117 this morning. Even my usually high BP was well in the normal range. Wow! Yay! We honor the great Gila Monster. Lots more nausea, though, but Doc assures me that will subside. Hey, I'm willing to trade a little nausea for a positive change like this!

OK, the stuff is starting to work now. Last night I went to a poker game at my club. I shot up in the parking garage and ate a Glucerna bar as I walked through the building and into the elevator. Up at the club the chef had laid out a buffet of poker snacks including chicken drumettes, fajitas, stuffed potato skins, guacamole, moussaka ... you know, all the stuff that calls your name loudly. Well, two bites and I was done. No appetite and slightly queasy. As for drinks, I limit my alcohol to red wine for the most part, figuring if you're going to drink, that's the least harmful and it in fact has some benefits for the cardiovascular system. Well, two glasses and I was done. I'm usually good for a few more than that during the course of a long poker evening. I think this stuff is going to change my life! I'm finally going to lose some weight. Thank you, Señior Gila Monster!!!!

Oh, yeah, I walked away from the table $30 to the good! Not a bad night overall.

I was beginning to think it wasn't working for me because I felt absolutely the same .... until about 2 hours after this morning's dose. I finally have a little nausea. In a perverse way this is welcome, because at least it lets me know the stuff is starting to work. Glucose was high this morning though, 143. Well, I can't expect instantaneous results. This evening I'm attending a get together out with some friends, so I'll be injecting myself in the car, in the parking lot outside the restaurant. This is going to feel weird!

Nothing. No changes. Feel exactly the same. Guess I'll have to do the 30 day trial on 5 mcg and then move up to 10 mcg. We shall see. Any advice from you experienced lizard spit shooters out there?
